Patient Arrival Policy For you and your pet's protection and for the protection of others, please have your pet on a leash or in a carrier when you arrive for an appointment, boarding, or for grooming. If you do not have a leash or container, please ask for one prior to getting your pet out of your car. We want all of our patients, guests, and clients to have a safe visit with us. Appointments In order to provide the best quality of service, we operate by appointment during regular business hours. This allows us to schedule ample time for all our patients and for our surgical and medical procedures. Occasionally, emergencies arrive that will receive top priority. We strive to see our clients and patients on time, but there may be times when an appointment could be delayed. Walk-in clients are welcome; however appointments are preferred and will take precedence over walk-ins. Walk Ins When you schedule an appointment, it allows our staff to prepare for your visit ahead of time. We can prepare your pet's medical record for his/her doctor to review in advance of your visit. Our reception can keep watch for you and, best of all, your waiting time will be shorter!
But we all know that life does not always give us adequate time to prepare. If your pet has a true medical emergency, you should come in right away for an emergency visit. If you can call us to let us know you will be arriving soon with an emergency, please do. If you do not have time to make that phone call, we understand!
If you arrive at our hospital without an appointment or an emergency, we will do our best to examine and treat your pet as soon as our schedule permits. However, the fees for this service are higher than for a scheduled visit, and your waiting time may vary. Emergency Visits We understand the worry and fear that you experience when your beloved pet is in danger. We will concentrate on your pet's medical needs and give your pet the highest quality care.
Your Pet's Well-Being is our First Priority If your pet is injured or facing a life threatening emergency, Noah's Animal Hospital's first priority is the well being of your pet. Noah's doctors and technician's will direct their full attention to stabilizing your pet and providing the highest level of medical care. After your pet is stabilized, a doctor will speak with you and inform you of his/her findings.
Admission & Administration Upon admission, you will be required to sign an authorization for Consent to Treat. For serious emergencies or hospitalizations, a deposit is required. If the full deposit is not needed then we will happily refund our clients the difference upon completion of treatment. Surgical Admission Policy Surgical patients with a scheduled appointment should be admitted between 7:30am and 8am on the scheduled day of surgery. If a morning drop off is not convenient, you can drop your pet off the evening before the scheduled procedure and be boarded overnight at no extra charge.
Any pet that will be undergoing an anesthetic procedure must be fasted with no food or water prior to admission after 10:00pm the night before.
Pets requiring blood testing should also be fasted before testing. Please call us if you are unsure whether you should fast your pet. Payment Policy We strive to provide high quality veterinary care and our fees reflect our values related to both quality and level of care. We encourage you to ask for an estimate of services prior to receiving them so that you are part of your pet's level of care. We require a deposit prior to hospitalization, medical, or surgical treatment. Fees are due at the time of service or when your pet is discharged after hospitalization, boarding, or grooming. We accept cash and credit cards: Master Card, Visa, and Discover. We do not accept checks.
Payment Plan Should you need a payment plan, we offer Care Credit. Care Credit is a separate credit agency that offers several payment options. You can apply online or when you come into the office. Please make sure that you bring appropriate identification. We will provide you with an estimate of the services requested or needed.
